The whole upper floor of a freestanding building, with its own entrance. Views of the mountains and a slice of the sea, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, air conditioning throughout, and a balcony for breakfast.
Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, for up to four guests. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, and air conditioning in every room. The internet is as fast as you can get on the island, and there's a desk if you need to work.
Steps cut into the cliff take you down to the water, inside the gated Punta Azul community. No road to cross and no beach bag to pack. Punta Azul also has rinse basins and storage for scuba gear.

Westpunt is about 45 minutes from the airport, and you'll want a rental car. You get your own parking spot right at the building. Once you're here, the closest beaches are five to ten minutes away.
The reef starts right below the cliff. Sea turtles and eagle rays pass through, and we've been keeping track of what lives there.

Westpunt is a small fishing village at the tip of Bandabou, the quiet, green half of Curaçao. It's a long way from the cruise port and the resort strip, and close to the beaches most visitors drive an hour to reach.
Curaçao sits outside the hurricane belt, so it's warm and breezy all year.
